Title: Original Jean Francois painted hope chest entitled “La Vie en Jaune”

Jean Francois was born in Belgium, and at a very early age discovered his passion for art. In 1976 he enrolled in the Academy of Beaux Art in Belgium. This was followed by training at the Academy des Beaux Arts de Paris, which is known for its schooling of impressionist painters including Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh, cubist Pablo Picasso, and surrealist Salvador Dali.

In the early 1990’s Jean continued to develop his own unique style. Working incredibly fast with large canvas strokes, vibrant colors, and explosive energy, Jean created "Extreme Art." With artistic styles that range from figurative to abstract, Jean is in high demand to create works of "Extreme Art" for celebrities as well as successful corporations.

As action painter and performer Jean Francois removes painting from the realm of studios and galleries and transforms it into high-energy public entertainment. His tour de force combines comedy and art in a unique show choreographed to music, bringing joie de vivre to audiences around the world.

Jean Francois has performed in Las Vegas productions at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, as well as corporate events and conventions for clients including AT&T, BMW, General Electric, Novartis, Du Pont, Oracle, Cisco Systems, Verizon and many more. His unique entertainment style has won him the Spotlight Awards Entertainer of the Year in 2000, and has resulted in him giving private "Extreme Art" performances for Prince Charles, Pope John II, the Grimaldi family, the Sultan of Brunei, and many more. Luminaries like Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Luciano Pavarotti, Enzo Ferrari, Presidents Clinton and Bush, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison and many more celebrities have been immortalized on canvas by Jean Francois.

‘Naomi’s Hope for a Cure’ is sincerely grateful to Jean for his unconditional support of this gala event. He generously donated his time and talent to paint “la vie en jaune” as well as donated his extreme artistic brilliance and energy to be our evening’s entertainer. We know that this will be an evening of entertainment that you will never forget!
